Stop assigning engineers to an issue who then seem to ignore them

There are a lot of issues on here that get assigned engineers and then nothing happens until an engineer will just randomly close an issue with no explanation. Does an engineer generate points by closing an issue and then can show his boss he has been active. I have to say this because it seem like no issue get fixed or looked at if they are not AI related.

The voting system suck, and even when it get lots of votes nothing is done.

I don't want to discuss things like this on StackOverflow because the environment is unhealthy.

Thanks, I still like using VSCode and I know it is free, but there is not point in having a shiny car if the engine is broken. 😄
