Cannot Enable GitHub authentication Extention

Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes/No

- VS Code Version: 1.132.0
- OS Version: Windows_NT x64 10.0.26200

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Make sure account sync i turned on in VS code
2. Make a time machine
3. Go back 2 years
4. Disable GitHub Authentication (vscode.github-authentication)
5. Go to the present
6. Try to enable GitHub Authentication (vscode.github-authentication)

Problem:
I cannot enable GitHub Authentication (vscode.github-authentication) in VS Code.
The enable button is gone and when i right-click the extention the enable is greyed out

If i disable sync and make a reset of my setting i am able to use GitHub Authentication but as soon as i enable the sync the extention goes back to be disabled.

I have narrowed it down to have happened 2 years ago in the synced extentions.json file

I am not able to revert the changes from 2 years ago
And I cannot find any to enable the GitHub Authentication (vscode.github-authentication)
