new switch editor type dropdown in breadcrumbs only appears in agents window not editor

Type: Bug

After upgrading to 1.132 and seeing the new feature I enabled breadcrumbs.showEditorType. After doing so I could see the dropdown (for a markdown file) when I opened it in the agents window but not when opened in the editor window.

To ensure this wasn't a conflict with some other setting I installed a fresh insiders build with no configuration changes or extensions enabled yet still observed same behaviour with it appearing only in the agents window.
