Modern UI: Scrollbar gap from screen edge prevents quick-grab scrolling

In non modern UI, I could fling the cursor to the edge of the screen at any point and immediately click to grab the scrollbar, then drag to scroll through the content. This was very convenient, especially on wide screens.

In modern UI, however, there is a gap between the scrollbar and the screen edge, making it harder to quickly access the scrollbar. This is so annoying. Please, address the issue in modern UI.
