1.128.0: multi-file Changes list corrupt display on Gnome 49 / Wayland

Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes/No

- VS Code Version: 1.128.0
- OS Version: Gentoo / Gnome 49 Wayland / Mesa 26 / Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1370P Raptor Lake igfx

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Open any changelist: Changes, Staged, any commit, etc
2. Mouse-wheel scroll up and down
3. Shortly display fills with corrupt filename titlebars

Just closing Changes tab doesn't help, once corruption occurs, there seems to be no self-healing path - re-opening any Changes list displays corrupt from start.

This has been occurring for months, at least, and I'm filing this bug because many updates have not fixed this, so it seems to be flying under the radar somehow.
