Fable 5 dies and loops on Autopilot forever.

Set Fable 5 to Max 1M. Turn on Autopilot. Give it a long, complex thread.

Obviously with AI it is hard to make things reproduceable so the above is the best I can do. I saw it on two of two threads after about $60 in token burn per thread.

In both cases the thread/chat died with what you see in the image. Given the high quality of Fable's output to that point I tried dozens of times to recover the thread. I see no detailed causes of the failure. As you can see, /compact didn't help either (or work at all)

One of the threads **dangerously** looped on me over night - running up $400 before hitting my budget cap. When I asked the AI what it did to cause it it said it ran an "async script" of some sort. What was really problematic here is that it showed the turn had ended at each loop - thumbs up, down, retry icons all showed at the bottom left. Those icons signal to me "end of turn". Not in this case. After I left my computer, it restarted the thread about 40 times at $10 of burn per turn until my cap was hit. Each turn was, I think, just running an application with a UX to, perhaps, attempt a Playwright test. Not sure and the AI chat output really said nothing... it just showed the script name/command. Painful.
