Steps to Reproduce:

1. Open https://vscode.dev/
2. Ctrl + K N
3. Ctrl + K M
4. Select "TypeScript"
5. Click the Copilot icon in the lower-right corner

- Expected: Inline Suggestion is Enabled
- Actual: Inline Suggestion is Disabled. To make matters worse, "Use AI features" button doesn't make any effects. It's just a scam.

In the current situation where inline code completion isn't available for light file editing in editors on vscode.dev (which opens by pressing . in the GitHub repository browser), Copilot can only serve as a subpar, inferior alternative to Cursor, Codex, and Claude Code. Creating and later discarding a VM in Codespace is tedious, and since it's an EMU environment, it operates on completely metered billing - making the whole process quite cumbersome.

It's ridiculous that the GitHub Copilot Chat extension remains unavailable on the Web platform of Visual Studio Code.
