Reduce the Frequency of Stable VS Code Releases

Thank you for all the work that goes into VS Code.

I would like to express my frustration with the current release cadence. Stable updates are arriving so frequently that they have become an interruption rather than a benefit. It feels like there is another update and another set of release notes almost every time I open the editor.

I understand that rapid development is valuable, but many users simply want a stable development environment without constant prompts to update. I would much rather receive fewer, more substantial releases than a continuous stream of incremental ones.

Please consider slowing the stable release cadence or providing an official "slow" update channel for users who prefer stability over receiving every feature as soon as it is available.

At the current pace, the update frequency feels excessive.
