Testing #324361
1. Create a new Claude session, add an extra chat so the tab bar appears.
2. Note that closing the new tab causes the tab bar to disappear as well.
3. Now open a new tab again, so the tab bar re-appears.
4. Restart VS Code
5. Open the session again and close the extra tab so only the main chat remains.
6. 🐛 the tab bar is still shown, unlike in step 2.
