Description

Type: Bug

Visual Studio Code editor allows word-wrap, which automatically breaks visually long lines so they fit in the visible panel. While not typical for code, this is usual for prose text, such as markdown or latex files.

When using Copilot agent for editing the file, the changes show the typical diff view with red/green showing the changes. However, while the green section honors the word wrap, the red section do not, and extends horizontally as if the word wrap is disabled.

The expected behavior is that both red and green sections should honor word wrap, if it is enabled.
