Feedback on how having an AI assistant as a copilot affects my coding

Today I logged into the AI assistant and used it for a while, then stopped. When I was coding, I noticed that the suggestion speed slowed down noticeably. I hope Microsoft or GitHub can provide a switch to turn it on or off.
