Type: Bug

From time to time, a chat session becomes unavailable.
That is, it shows in the chat session but clicking it won't return any content.
I could not find any pattern for this behavior.

I have tried the below recommendation without any luck

User: @vscode a chat session will not open, what can i do?

VS Code:

  1. Try opening chat with Chat: Open Chat. Keybinding: Ctrl+Alt+I.
    Show in Command Palette

  2. If that does not open, try Chat: Open Quick Chat.
    Show in Command Palette

  3. Reload VS Code with Developer: Reload Window, then try opening chat again.
    Show in Command Palette

  4. Open Chat: Chat Settings and check whether chat-related features are disabled.
    Show in Command Palette

  5. If it still fails, open Developer: Toggle Developer Tools and check the Console for errors.
    Show in Command Palette
