the issue of showing previous projects and folders on remote explorer

Description

Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes/No

• VS Code Version: windows 11
• OS Version: 26200.8655

Steps to Reproduce:

1. create wsl project using any linux os and use that os and open some folders
2. uninstall the os from wsl or reinstall again or install any other linux os
3. previous uninstalled os information and projects opened will be listed on remote explorer
4. it will create confusions and when opening them crashes will happens
