  • OS Version: Windows 11
  • Feature (e.g. agent/edit/ask mode): Agent mode
  • Selected model (e.g. GPT 4.1, Claude 3.7 Sonnet): GPT-5.5 Medium

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open a folder on a network drive
  2. Query Copilot in a way that would need it to search for files itself
  3. See the fileSearch tool return 0 results for /192.168.1.50/path/to/folder/** (for example)
  4. See it actually return results when querying **/folder/**
