Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes/No

  • VS Code Version: 1.121
  • OS Version: Windows 11

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Create multi-root workspace contains multiple repository folder, all the repos are hosted in Azure Deveops
  2. Login github with my GHE account
  3. Login microsoft account
  4. Mouse hover on the copilot icon at right bottom corner

Expected:
Codebase Semantic Index to be built for each repo after a while

Actual:
Codebase Semantic Index keep showing "Checking" for long time, and then show index not available. open detail, there is only try reauth link without any other information

This is an issue not just from the new release version, it exists for several versions since Semantic Index feature released
