Description
Spring Initializr supports selecting configuration file format via the
configurationFileFormat parameter.
This capability was recently added to Spring Initializr but is not yet
exposed in the VS Code extension. Currently, the extension always generates application.properties.
It may be useful to allow users to select between Properties and YAML
formats during project creation.
