Description
To make git settings like the global .gitignore or the allowedSignersFile available to git inside of a devcontainer, I currently mount a ~/.config/git directory inside of every container explicitly.
Commiting these mounts to the devcontainer.json of every repository I work in is obviously not feasable so it would be nice if there was a global user setting to mount specific directories inside of every devcontainer, like it is possible to do with extensions using the dev.containers.defaultExtensions setting.
