Description
Within my host machine's $HOME directory are the files .gitconfig and .gitignore.
In the $HOME/.gitconfig file, within the [core] section is the line: excludesfile = ~/.gitignore.
The extension does correctly copy the $HOME/.gitconfig file into the container when it is built.
I would like to request that this global ignore file be included in the container as well. That is, if [core] excludesfile is set, and that file resolves to a valid file on the host machine, it should be copied into the container along with the .gitconfig file.
