Description

I notice that when I navigate to the vscode-remote-wsl folder and double-click either insider or stable, I see a lot of older folders that don't tend to be automatically deleted after updating VS Code to a later version. I'd like VS Code to remove older folders automatically and create new ones automatically after VS Code gets updated to a later version and if a WSL extension has been installed, please.

Below is another example of when VS Code should be updated to a later version and automatically remove an older folder before creating a newer folder:

Normally, the vscode-remote-wsl folder is located in C:\Users\username.
