Is there an existing issue for this bug?

I asked @remote-ssh but it did not help

In step 2 of the troubleshooting wiki, what was the result of running the generated SSH command verbatim outside of VS Code?

Expected Behavior

I can use SSH 8xA800 to connect to the server directly. I am able to establish a connection using VSCode, and have successfully connected to the remote host and set up an SSH tunnel. However, it seems to be stuck at the "Opening Remote" stage.

Actual Behavior

If I set remote.SSH.enableDynamicForwarding= True, it behaves the same:
