Description
Type: Bug
After updating the remote ssh plugin and VCS.
I cannot connect anymore to the remote server like I used to do it.
It keeps asking for the oprating system then complains that something cannot be loaded.
If I revert to an old version - it worked before.
But now the VCS was also updated and no connection is possible. (with old or new)
I even added the remote extended pack.

Research direction
Reproduce the failed remote connection using the reported VS Code, extension, and Windows versions, first recording the exact operating-system loading error. Compare behavior with the older extension and VCS versions, and document the conditions under which the remote server connection succeeds or fails.
