Description
I have a pull request targeting my default branch from branch A, and I have a PR for branch B targeting branch A.
When I merge the PR for branch A into my default branch and delete branch A on local and remote from the Pull Request description view in VSCode, my PR for branch B targeting branch A is closed and cannot be reopened. I have to create a new PR targeting my default branch from branch B and I lose all history of comments and reviews that were in the original PR for branch B.
When I do the same process in the Github.com web console, the PR for branch B targeting branch A automatically gets updated to target my default branch when I merge and delete branch A.
- Extension version: 0.108.0
- VSCode Version: 1.99.1
- OS: Mac OS Version 15.4 (24E248)
- Repository Clone Configuration (single repository/fork of an upstream repository): single repository
- Github Product (Github.com/Github Enterprise version x.x.x): Github.com
Steps to Reproduce:
- Create a PR on branch A with a target of default branch
- Create a PR on branch B with a target of branch A
- Merge the PR for branch A into default branch
- Delete branch A on local and remote
- Observe that PR for branch B is now closed and cannot be reopened
