Description

When githubPullRequests.focusedMode is set to "overview", if I checkout a pull request and then focus the terminal—either because I used the terminal to checkout the PR or because I now want to run a command such as installing dependencies—when the overview opens up it steals focus from the terminal. I would like an option to disable this focus stealing behavior, or alternatively, support an additional option for this setting that shows the PR details in the sidebar but doesn't open the full overview.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the behavior with githubPullRequests.focusedMode set to "overview": check out a pull request, focus the terminal, and observe the overview opening. Review the setting and checkout flow; done means users can disable focus stealing or view PR details in the sidebar without opening the full overview.
