Description
It would be nice if Makefile: Set the target to be built by make and Makefile: Build the current target were available as one command that opens the quick-picker of target names and then immediately builds the selected target. Maybe Makefile: Set and build a target.

Research direction
Start by locating the existing “Set the target to be built by make” and “Build the current target” command entry points. Trace how the target quick-picker and build action are invoked, then combine them so one command presents target names and immediately builds the selection. Done means a new “Makefile: Set and build a target” command works through the same picker and build flow.
