Description
Hey, cool project!! When u start a node application written in Javascript it starts ok, but when u restart using the restart button, the graph goes away, so u have to stop and restart the app.
Is possible to fix this?

Research direction
Reproduce the problem in the VS Code custom editor with a Node.js JavaScript application, then trace the restart-button flow and how the graph state is restored. Done means restarting no longer clears the graph, without requiring the application to be stopped and started again.
