Description

Hello allo 👋
I'm the owner of the TextMate extension tmlanguage-syntax-highlighter
I was wondering if you would be willing to add it to the extension recommendations in the Languages template (syntax highlighting)

I strongly think it'll be a great help for first time people trying out TextMate grammars
The main features it includes are syntax highlighting, intellisense, diagnostics and definitions

I see the js/ts templates have some recommendations

I'm happy to change anything on my end if need be

Research direction

Start in generators/app/templates/ext-language and compare its recommendation setup with generators/app/templates/ext-command-js/vscode/extensions.json. Confirm the generated Language template's extensions.json is the intended target, then verify that the TextMate syntax-highlighting extension appears among its recommendations.
