Bug: Microsoft Edge DevTools Extension not loading in VS Code (Windows 11)

Describe the bug:
When I try to launch Microsoft Edge DevTools inside VS Code, the panel freezes or doesn't open at all.

Repro steps:

1. Open VS Code
2. Go to Extensions → Microsoft Edge DevTools
3. Click "Launch Edge DevTools"
4. Nothing happens or VS Code hangs

Expected behavior:
The Edge DevTools panel should open inside the editor without freezing or failure.

Additional context:
This issue started after the last VS Code update (version 1.90.0). It worked fine before that.

Start by reproducing the launch failure in VS Code 1.90.0 on Windows 11 using Microsoft Edge DevTools extension version 1.2.3. Trace why the panel freezes or does not open, and verify that clicking “Launch Edge DevTools” opens the panel without hanging.
