Description
Environment (please complete the following information):
OS (e.g., Windows 10): MacOS Version 15.0.1
Extension version (e.g., 1.2.3): v2.1.6
Describe the bug:
When working on a tab, if you press "Shift" it inactivated the current tab.
I deactivated headless mode (user & workspace), but I’m still getting the yellow message telling me that I’m using headless mode.

Research direction
Start by reproducing both reports in VS Code on macOS with extension v2.1.6: pressing Shift in a tab and disabling headless mode at user and workspace scope. Trace the keyboard handling and headless-mode status display; done means Shift no longer inactivates the tab and the yellow banner matches the configured mode.
