Description

Environment (please complete the following information):

  • Windows 11
  • v2.1.4

Describe the bug:

onPasteCapture onPaste events wont trigger on this browser.

Repro steps:

do onPasteCapture or onPaste on simple React App

Expected behavior:

to trigger it. I thought my app is broken xD until I use it on real browser.

Additional context:

hmm nothing, I wonder if this the issue again by the browser being headless. Its quite sad to have single monitor this days xD

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue in the simple React app described, testing both onPasteCapture and onPaste in the Microsoft Edge DevTools for VS Code environment. Compare the behavior with a real browser and investigate whether the headless browser context receives paste events; done means both handlers trigger as expected or the limitation is documented.
