Description
Using vscode portable including a portable version of nodejs, it is impossible to use all features of DevTools extension for Vscode because it can not use node.
Installing nodejs is not really an option since this defeats the purpose of a portable vscode.
Possible solution would be a path setting in settings.json for the DevTools extension to find nodejs.

Research direction
Start by tracing how the DevTools extension discovers and launches Node.js when used from portable VS Code, then review how settings.json values are handled. Test with portable VS Code and a portable Node.js installation; done means the extension's features work without a system-wide Node.js installation.
