Research direction
The issue does not name any files, tests, or entry points, and its requested solution section is empty. Start by reproducing the resolution difference between Edge DevTools and Edge in the extension, then trace the relevant DevTools rendering or viewport integration. Done means the page has comparable resolution in both contexts and the behavior is covered by an appropriate test or reproduction check.
