Description

Feature Request

Sometimes I have very long strings. I'd like to be able to preview the values in a pop-up window, and copy them. For example by right-click on the variable.

Research direction

No file or test is named. Start by locating the debugger variable-inspection entry point in the vscode-cpptools extension and check how long string values are currently displayed. Done means providing a pop-up preview for long variable contents, with a way to copy them, such as through a variable context-menu action.
