Description

Type: Feature Request

Support setting breakpoints in a single file. This requires vsdbg to validate the file it is setting a breakpoint in with a checksum to prevent setting breakpoints in the wrong file.

Research direction

Start with the linked vscode-cpptools issue 977 and trace the cppvsdbg/vsdbg breakpoint-setting path. The requested behavior is to validate the target file with a checksum so same-named files are not all assigned the breakpoint; done means only the matching file receives it.
