- C/C++ Extension Version: 1.0.0
Hello, Team!
I experienced the following issue: When I add a function to the watch expressions list, it is not being evaluated (see attachment). Is it a bug, or is there some setting which I don't know about?

Research direction
No source file, test, or entry point is named. Start by reproducing the watch-expression behavior using Ubuntu 21.04, VS Code 1.60, and C/C++ Extension 1.0.0, then inspect the debugger's handling of a C++ function in the watch list. Done means establishing whether the return value is evaluated or whether a setting or limitation explains the behavior.
