Description

Type: Feature Request

I would love to see to refactor signatures in a similar way VSCode can refactor signatures for C# and VB or CLion does for C++:

Specifically

  • Allow to change the name of a signature(which is already available)
  • Allow to add/remove argument
  • Change argument types
  • Change/add/remove argument modifiers

Research direction

Start by reviewing the existing signature-renaming support and comparing the requested behavior with the C# and VB refactoring in VS Code and C++ refactoring in CLion. Define how adding, removing, or changing arguments, types, and modifiers should work before implementation; done means all listed signature changes are supported consistently.
