Description
Seems like it should say that opening a workspace folder is required like it doesn't when Configure Default Build Task is done.

Research direction
Reproduce the issue by pressing F5 without a workspace folder, then compare the behavior with Configure Default Build Task. Trace the F5 command path in the extension and identify where the settings.json editor is opened. Done means the missing-workspace case shows a clear failure message instead.
