Description
Type: Debugger
If I'm right, your debugger is an integration of gdb (and others) into VSCode. Then can you add support for assembly file debugging?
I only mean in-file breakpoints and usual steps in code.

Research direction
Start by tracing the existing GDB and debugger integration in the VS Code extension, then inspect how in-file breakpoints and normal stepping are handled for supported source files. Compare that path with assembly .s files. Done means assembly files support in-file breakpoints and usual stepping during debugging.
