Description

In VS, all the headers in a TU show errors in the error list (with the ability to filter to only show errors for the current file). See also https://github.com/microsoft/vscode-cpptools/issues/3207 , which is related.

Research direction

The issue names no repository files, tests, or entry points. Start by reading the related VS Code issue #3207 and examining how the extension reports errors for a translation unit and its included headers. Done means errors from all included headers appear in the VS error list, with a filter that can limit results to the current file.
