Description
Type: Debugger
This is a suggestion/feature request I find very useful the checkpoint feature on gdb, I can use checkpoints by using the debug console directly (-exec checkpoint) but It'd be very nice to have support on the UI. Create checkpoints, roll back to them and essentially have a list of all those you've created.

Research direction
Start by examining the debugger UI and the existing debug-console path that accepts -exec checkpoint. Determine how checkpoints can be created, listed, and rolled back through the UI. Done means the UI supports creating checkpoints, returning to them, and displaying the checkpoints created.
