Description
Type: Debugger
Input information below
Describe the bug
- OS and Version: Windows 10
- VS Code Version: 1.29.1
- C/C++ Extension Version: 0.20.1
- Debugger: GDB
Currently, the variables in the "Locals" list are not sorted. This is quite painful when there are many. Any chance this could be done, or if it's controversial for some reason then at least as a config option? It would improve the debugging experience quite a bit!

Research direction
No source files or tests are named. Start by locating the debugger's Locals list implementation in the C/C++ extension and determine how variables are currently ordered; done means the Locals list is alphabetically sorted, with any requested configuration behavior clarified and verified on Windows with GDB.
