feature request: parallel stack of C/C++ programs in Visual Studio Code
I have used the parallel stack tool in Visual Studio 2017. It is a cool tool and is very helpful in performance analysis. Hope that VSCode could have the same feature available for users.

Research direction
Compare the requested Visual Studio 2017 parallel stack tool with the existing VS Code C/C++ extension capabilities and documentation. The issue names no files, entry points, or tests, so first clarify the desired behavior and locate the debugger stack-view implementation. Done should mean an agreed, tested parallel-stack experience with documented scope.
