Debugger Logs
Keeps printing the breakpoint line, for example:
Breakpoint 7.3, Tree<long>::Count (this=0x7bfff490e420) at /usr/src/DataStructuresAlgorithms/src/Tree.cpp:640

Research direction
Start by reproducing the breakpoint behavior with the launch.json and tasks.json configurations in the reported Ubuntu, VS Code, and C/C++ extension versions. Review the debugger logs showing repeated breakpoint output, and consider the issue complete when stopping at a breakpoint no longer prevents interaction with other windows, the watch view, or the VS Code menu.
