Description

There is no warning or explanation for why the language service features aren't working.

The user may not realize the file has a C:\ path.

Editing shows logging: LSP: Request canceled by server (cpptools/getCompletionContext, code: -32000, id: 26): Failed to get the file context

Research direction

Reproduce the language-service failure in WSL with a Windows C:\ file open, using the reported cpptools/getCompletionContext log as the starting symptom. Trace where this failure is surfaced to the user and add a clear warning explaining the path mismatch; done when the warning appears for this scenario and language-service behavior is documented by a test or reproduction check.
