Description
Type: Bug
When debugging C++ code it's possible to be sitting at a break point and the mouse hovering over a function can cause it to execute. This can unintentionally break debugging sessions due to unintended mouse movements.

Contributor guide
First steps
- Read the whole issue, then the project's contributing guide.

- Fork the repository and make your change on a branch.
- Open a pull request that references the issue number.
Research direction
Start by reproducing the issue with the reported C++ debugging setup: pause at a breakpoint and hover over a function. Investigate the extension's hover and expression-evaluation behavior, then verify that mouse hovering no longer executes code or disrupts the debugging session.
