Research direction
Start by opening sqlite3.c in VS Code with the C/C++ extension and inspecting the reported missing semantic tokens, inactive regions, and undefined-identifier diagnostics while scrolling and after an edit. Compare the displayed results before and after editing; done means the reported IntelliSense errors and missing regions no longer occur in the described case.
