Description

### Brief Issue Summary

There seem to be no way to specify to run a specific test, and if you first start any process, there seems to be no way to tell the cmake tools extension to stop.

Is there something completely obvious im missing or is this just missing?

Research direction

Start by reproducing the reported test-task behavior in the CMake Tools extension: determine whether a specific test can receive arguments and whether a started process can be stopped. The issue provides no file or test entry point, diagnostics, or debug log; done means both requested task controls are available and documented by their behavior.
