Description

Is there a possibility to switch the Azure directory without explicitly signing in with a user in that particular tenant.
Googling this issue only provides the answer that you should change the setting azure.tenant but it seems that setting was only available in the old Azure extension.
Here the link to the same issue but the old extensions: https://github.com/microsoft/vscode-azure-account/issues/166

Research direction

Start by reviewing the requested directory-switching behavior and the linked vscode-azure-account issue #166, then compare that prior setting with the current extension behavior. The expected change and completion criteria are not defined in this issue, so the scope would need clarification before implementation.
