Description

The VSTHRD010 analyzer should be able to attribute thread affinity based on individual property accessors. For example setting a property may have thread affinity where getting the property might be free-threaded.

Proposed syntax:

The vs-threading.MembersRequiringMainThread.txt file might contain this line to indicate thread affinity only applies to the setter:

[Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.UIContext]::IsActive::set

Research direction

Start with the VSTHRD010 analyzer and the vs-threading.MembersRequiringMainThread.txt file, and trace how member entries are parsed and applied to property accessors. Done means the proposed ::set syntax can assign thread affinity only to the setter while preserving independent getter behavior.
