Windows build number: Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.19042.746]
Windows Terminal version (if applicable): Version: 1.6.10252.0

Steps to reproduce

Starting directory

  1. Open up the settings UI
  2. Go to any profile's tab
  3. Clear all the text in the "starting directory" text box
  4. Check the 'use parent process directory' check box
  5. The checkbox immediately unchecks itself

Background image

  1. Open up the settings UI
  2. Go to any profile's tab
  3. Go to the appearance tab for that profile
  4. Type in "desktopWallpaper" into the "background image path" text box
  5. Check the 'use desktop wallpaper' check box
  6. The checkbox immediately unchecks itself

Expected behavior

The checkbox remains checked
