Description

If Windows Terminal has a toggle for the Kitty Keyboard Protocol (KKP), it implies that we cannot translate win32im sequences to KKP inside ConPTY. That would defeat the toggle after all.

Once the KKP implementation has been stabilized we should consider removing the toggle.

Research direction

No file or test is named. Begin by reviewing the existing Kitty Keyboard Protocol implementation and how ConPTY handles win32im sequences. Done means determining whether win32im sequences can be translated to KKP without undermining the Windows Terminal toggle, and documenting or implementing the resulting behavior.
